Twyla Smith is a Colorado certified teacher, a registered Reading Recovery teacher and has completed the basic training and Advanced Morphology in Orton Gillingham. In her 25 years as an educator she has been a classroom teacher in Kindergarten, 1st grade and ECE but also worked nearly half of her career as a reading specialist, working one on one with struggling students. She was employed at Denver Public Schools for much of her career but also worked for Denver Christian Schools.
