Russ is a Colorado certified teacher who has taught middle school math and science for 24 years at Denver Christian Schools. He has recently stepped away from the classroom, taking early retirement, to pursue a dream of starting a nonprofit organization called Restoration River Ranch with his wife, Twyla.

Russ was a well-liked teacher, both by students and parents, in his years at Denver Christian and is now eager to continue to pour into the lives of students as a tutor. Russ believes strongly in meeting a student where he/she is at, helping the student to see his/her strengths, and working to build a confident student. Russ also enjoys making learning fun and is able to make connections easily with students.
